Feathers and Paint Art Workshop

The amazing qualities of our fine feathered friends are not limited to when they fly over our heads. Sometimes they are harbingers of magic essence in the form of a feather. Come bond with bird magic and explore painting with feathers as your paintbrush! The "qualities" of the bird guide your hand, as the feather imparts a mystical, zen-like feel to your painting.

You will choose your bird feather "brush" from those I have been "gifted" with in nature, which will become your art guide or "totem" for the day. We will learn about the qualities of the bird you have chosen, as we pause to connect with the spirit of each bird. I will also share some feather painting guidance. All acrylic paints, holographic microfine glitter, found objects, and other materials are included to create a practice piece and an 8x10 mixed media painting. And you keep your feather for future possibilities - art and otherwise.

The day includes refreshments.

$45 per person, limited to six participants. Check back for the next event, summer of 2018!
